Merriment for the Entire Family
The holiday season brings tons of festivities to the North Florida region — from the Mistletoe Magic Craft Market in Lake City to the Christmas Parade and holiday house in Downtown Palatka. Check out an over 10 million light displays at Suwannee Lights at the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak or watch the kids’ faces light up at the Christmas on the Railroad Parade in Lake Butler. There’s always a reason to be merry and bright in North Florida!
Fun in the Great Outdoors
Keep your cool during the warm North Florida summer months by attending one of the region’s several festivals and events. The Juneteeth Festival in White Springs, Florida is a celebration of community strength and culture, with music, stories and educational exhibits. We’re also known for our food festivals including the Bradford County Strawberry Festival and Smokin’ in the Pines — one of the largest and most popular BBQ Festivals in the Southeastern U.S.
Community Gathering Entertainment
Relive the good ‘ol days when everybody who was anybody would be found at the county fair. The Levy County Fair at Williston Horseman’s Park offers a midway, tons of food and craft vendors, equestrian shows and art competitions. Only a short drive away in Tallahassee is the North Florida Fair, which has been an annual event since the mid-20th century. Thousands from the area attend the event every November to enjoy live music, dance, magic shows, handcrafted treasures and more.
